Our journey has been remarkable, spanning years of dedicated service. We’ve had the privilege of assisting a diverse group of clients globally, both face-to-face and through online platforms. This includes individuals managing fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and overlapping chronic pain conditions.

Our work with the fibromyalgia community has gained media attention, being featured in both local and national newspapers, and broadcast on television, including ITV News. With all that being said, we actually first started working with fibromyalgia by complete accident!

Whilst working with clients managing chronic pain, we began to notice a significant overlap between those struggling with persistent pain and those meeting the diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia. This observation pushed us to dive deeper into the research, refine our approach, and develop strategies specifically designed to address the unique challenges of fibromyalgia rehabilitation.

Fibromyalgia and Your Bubbles

When it comes to managing fibromyalgia, it’s easy to jump straight into exercises, diets, and treatments in the hope of finding that one thing that will finally work. But here’s the truth:

If your Biological, Psychological, and Social (BPS) factors aren’t aligned, even the best treatments and exercises might not work for you.

Your BPS bubbles are not just important—they are everything. They’re the foundation upon which every treatment, movement, or change must be built. Without addressing these key factors, you’re building a house on unstable ground.

Biological Factors: Are your tissues, nerves, and overall physical health prepared to handle new exercises or treatments?
Psychological Factors: Do you have the right mindset, understanding, and emotional space to approach this journey?
Social Factors: Do you have the support, time, and resources to create an environment where progress is possible?

Each bubble interacts with the others, and even the smallest imbalance can throw everything off track.

Our downloadable eBook, ‘Why Do Treatments Not Work for Everyone?’, is your essential starting point.

It breaks down these bubbles in detail and shows you how to set the stage for real, lasting progress.

Fibromyalgia and Back Pain

Before diving into treatments or exercises, it’s crucial to understand the warning signs that your back pain might need urgent medical attention. We don’t want to alarm you—most cases of fibromyalgia-related back pain are notcaused by anything serious. But knowing the red flags isn’t just about identifying when something might be wrong; it’s also about putting your mind at ease when those red flags aren’t present.

In this video, we walk you through the key red flags to look out for when dealing with persistent or worsening back pain.

Back pain is one of the most common and frustrating symptoms experienced by those with fibromyalgia, affecting nearly 50% of individuals diagnosed with the condition. But why is back pain so persistent in fibromyalgia? Why do traditional treatments often fall short?

Fibromyalgia back pain is complex, and there’s no magic fix: but understanding the why is the first step toward meaningful change.

Fibromyalgia and Costochondritis

For many people with fibromyalgia, chest pain can be one of the most alarming symptoms. It’s often sharp, persistent, and sometimes mistaken for something far more serious—like a heart issue. But in many cases, the cause is something called Costochondritis.

What is Costochondritis?
It’s inflammation of the cartilage that connects your ribs to your breastbone, and it’s surprisingly common in those with fibromyalgia.

Why Does It Happen?
While the exact cause isn’t fully understood, factors like poor posture, prolonged stress, and hypersensitivity of the nervous system may play a role.

What Can You Do About It?
Learn about gentle stretches, posture corrections, and calming techniques to help ease Costochondritis-related chest pain.
